Difference between plasma and serum

Difference between plasma and serum

Plasma

1)The plasma is separated with the help of anticoagulant like EDTA.

2)In plasma clotting factor is present 13 factor.

3) Fibrinogen is present in plasma.

4) Plasma Quantity more than serum.

5) plasma is coating. Reason clothing  factor is present.

6) plasma used to coagulation test
Like - PT, prothrombin test  APTT,

7) The plasma is used to transfusion process in human.

Serum

 1) serum is a separate without  anticoagulants.

2) In serum clotting factor is absent.

3) Fibrinogen is absent in serum.

4) Serum quantity is less than plasma.

5) Serum is used to serological diagnostic test LFT, KFT, Lipid profile, panel,

6) Serum cannot clotting. Reason clotting factor is absent.

7) Serum is separated 10-15 Min.

what is cell

Cell

The cell is structure and functional  units
of life. Cell is a smallest unit of body
Is called cell.
The cell is discovered by Robert hooke in 1665. Under the made up of self microscope.
Firstly is discovered by plant cell and dead cell.

Cell organelles

Cell membrane
Golgi body /Golgi apparatus /Golgi complex
Ribosome
Nucleus
Nuclear membrane
Mitochondria
Cytoplasm
Lysosome
Rough endoplasmic reticulum
Smooth endoplasmic reticulum
Chromatin

Cell membrane

It is outer layer of cell.
The cell membrane is protection layer of cell.
The cell membrane is provide shape.

Golgi complex /Golgi body

The Golgi complex is also known as Golgi apparatus and Golgi body.
The Golgi complex is 2 part
a)Cics
b)trans

Lysosome

It is a format by Golgi body
Lysosome are secretary vesicles it is called suicide bag.
It is a main function is involved in extracellular digestion.

Cytoplasm

It is also known as protoplasm.
It is just look like a jelly form.
It is made up of 95% H2O.
It is fluid in cell.
Its main function is selective molecules.
Molecules used for cellular process.

Nuclear membrane

It is present in outside of nucleus.
The nucleus membrane is similar to cell membrane.
The nucleus membrane is double structure.
It is a present around the nucleus.

Nuclear

It is important organ of cell .
It is also known as heart of cell.
Nuclear shape is round.
Its main function is a transfer of genetic characteristics.one generation to next generation with the help of DNA and RNA.
Its main function is a control of our cell.

Nuclear plasma

It is a similar to cytoplasm
It is present in nucleus
Its main function is a maintain of nucleus shape.
DNA and RNA is present in it.

Chromatin

It is a genetic material.

In genetic material DNA and RNA present.
Its main function is a transport of genetic character.

Endoplasmic reticulum

The endoplasmic reticulum is a complex network of membrane.
Endoplasmic reticulum is mainly two types
a)Smooth endoplasmic reticulum
b)Rough endoplasmic reticulum

Mitochondria

it is important part of cell

Its main function is stored energy .

Energy stored in ATP from

 Note :- Sorry for Mitochondria

Sterilization vs disinfection || sterilization process || Sterilization techniques

Sterilization & Disinfection

Definition

Sterilization is is definite defined as the process by which all microorganism vegetative cells and sports are removed from an article or surface area.

Disinfection is a process of destruction of pathogenic organisms capable of giving rise to infection.

Antiseptic agent prevention infection by inhibiting growth of bacteria.

Bactericidal agents are those which can kill bacteria.

bacteriostatic agent only prevention multiplication of bacteria it's do not kill bacteria.
           Method of sterilization
Physical method
Chemical method

Physical sterilization
the physical instrumentation involved the following methods.

Sunlight
the sunlight is process bactericidal activity
this action is due to ultraviolet rays this is one of the natural method of sterilization in case of water in tank river and lake.
Drying
Moisture is essential for growth of bacteria drying in air has therefore a deleterious effect on own many bacteria however this method is unreliable,  as spore are not affected by drying.
Heat
Heat is the most suitable method for sterilization.
digitalization by heating depend on temperature time number of organisms present type of material to be sterilized and spore of the organism.

what is Centrifuge and its types|| Laboratory centrifuge

                  ¶¶  Centrifuge   ¶¶

 Definition of Centrifuge

A centrifuge is a device by which suspension of solid material in liquid phase is rotated at high speed .
This excellent read the sedimentation process by using of centrifugal force as a result the solid phase separate out and from the sediment at the bottom and the the liquid form the suspentant at the top.

           Centrifuge are two types
               (1)Hand centrifuge
              (2)electric centrifuge

(1)Hand centrifuge

The hand centrifugal are handed drive centrifuge which can reached up to 2000 to 2,500 rotation per minute RPM.
The hand centrifugal can only two  to 4 centrifuge tubes which are of 15 ml capacity and usually made of aluminium.

(2)Electric centrifuge

the electric centrifugal are the motor drive centrifuge operated through meins electric supply. these can reach up to  3,500 RPM and they are usually provided with multistage speed regulator to obtain desire Speed the common laboratory centrifuge is used for suspension of serum participate and sediments of variant body fluids  urine sediment for microscope examination.
the tube in the centrifugal must be balance exactly otherwise that you will break due to vibration increase or decrease the speed of centrifugal granular the tube must of the same size and weight.
